Polymide Group was established in Hong Kong more than 30 years ago. The company started as an agent for world-renowned CNC milling machines and equipment and introduced, promoted advanced mould machinery. At the same time, Polymide joined hands with blue chips corporations in the mould industry to bring the most advanced Die & Mold machines and technology into the Chinese market and established a ‘four in one’ mould industry platform consisting of research, production, solutions and auxiliary services.

Polymide Group represent more than 20 renowned brands from Europe, American and Japan and boasts geographical coverage all over China. Polymide has emerged as a leader in the Chinese mould industry and formed a platform with clear structure, comprehensive information and strong technical support.

Polymide International Co. Ltd, the core company of Polymide Group, mainly operates mould machineries: that is horizontal machining centers, vertical machining centers, wire EDM and ram EDM machines, graphite machining centers and Seiki machine tools from Makino. Under the guidance of Polymide International, Makino has become a mainstream company in the Chinese market. Polymide have given customers a full supporting technical role for every Makino machine sold by Polymide. It is an indication of the esteem that Polymide are held in by our partners.

Polymide M.T. Limited was founded in 1995 for meeting the need of customers in middle to large mould machinery and automotives. It focuses on representing General Purpose Machinery – the product range from Vertical machine centers (SIRISU-700, SIRIUS-UL), milling machines (HM series), TObO Machine centers and EDM ( B-35).

Centrica (China) Co. Ltd. was formed as part of Polymide’s strategy to provide a one-stop shop of Die & Mould products for customers. Currently, Centrica is an agent for more than 15 international brands in machine tools, plastic processing equipment, mould tools and accessories such as : polishing tools (Argofile from Japan, Gesswein from America and Novapax from German); tools (Sowa from Canada, MST and Showa from Japan); graphite (Ibiden from Japan); plastic processing accessories from Conair; screws, mixes, melt pumps, jet cleaners and screen changers from Xaloy; marking and welding system ‘Laser Star’ and injection machines from Samsung. Korea; a 3D weldless manufacturing system (Steam-Assist) and a 3D Optical Scanner from Solutionix. Moreover, it set up a 1500 sqm technical center and showroom in Shenzhen Futian for customers to visit. Centrica has collaborations with 3D Weldless alliances to promote the most advanced Steam Assisted Technology.

Furthermore, Polymide has a joint-venture with D-M-E Company and set up DME (China) in 1998. This subsidiary provides original DME products and technology. It places the latest DME products, technology and services in China, and provides upgrades for the standard Die & Mold Industry in China. Its products range from hot runner systems and components and standard components to mould action devices. Serving the need of the Chinese market, DME Trading (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd. was set up in 2006. A series of localization strategies are being undertaken in Shenzhen.

Polymide has established a Technology Development Institution, Technical Training Centers and is looking to develop a Productive Enhancement institution.

Polymide Group has set up two Technical Training Centers in Dongguan and Shenzhen. These centers organize technical training, seminar and technical exchange forums aimed at solving the problems customers encounter during machine operations and transferring the most advanced technologies to customers. Diverse technical topics provide information exchange among the industry and enhance the technology standard within the industry. It provides comprehensive before and after sales services to the customers and improves the overall Die & Mold manufacturing standard of customers.

Polymide Dongguan Technical Center lies in Wang Niu Dun Town and provides a variety of technical support services to customers. Developed on a 3,300 sqm site, it comprises facilities for technical seminars, forums and training classes.

Polymide Shenzhen Technical Center is located in Futian Free Trade Zone with a total gross area of 1,500 sqm. The Technical Center has a display of advanced mould and plastic processing accessories and provides a forum for technology exchange and sharing, technical maintenance and aims at improving the standard of the moulding industry in Hong Kong and China.

Polymide Group established the Polymide Institute of Advanced Technology & Innovation Management. This institute is dedicated to research, innovation and promoting advanced manufacturing technology and innovative management skills. It has joined hands with renowned institutions such as DME Plastic University in USA, The City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC), Guangdong Bureau of Science & Technology, Hong Kong Invention Association Ltd and the South China University of Technology. The institute is staffed by a diverse team of experts working hand in hand to develop and promote the latest technology for the industry.
